CAD Drafter

Job Summary

To support Navy infrastructure projects, the full-time CAD Drafter will create and modify technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring compliance with government standards while collaborating with engineers and project managers in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using AutoCAD and other CAD software
• Review engineering sketches and specifications to prepare construction and assembly drawings for DoD projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain organized drawing files and ensure compliance with industry standards

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Drafting Technology, CAD, Engineering Technology, or related field; or high school diploma with two years of professional drafting experience
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a drafter in engineering, architecture, or manufacturing
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with 3D modeling software
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and DoD drawing standards
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance
