CAD Engineering Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CAD Engineering Technician to support the electrical renewable project design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for renewable projects, including layouts and schematics
• Assist in optimizing renewable plant design for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety
• Maintain design records and ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes

Required Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in Drafting/Design or currently enrolled in a technical drafting program
• 5+ years of drafting/design experience in electrical, mechanical, or energy storage systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or SolidWorks
• Background in renewable energy projects preferred
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S
