CAD Layout Specialist

Job Summary

Transforming initial conceptual designs into working layout documents, the full-time remote CAD Layout Specialist will manage project drawing development, collaborate with design teams, and produce technical layouts and equipment lists for construction projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop project drawings under the guidance of project managers while adhering to schedules
• Assist in the creation and review of construction documents across major design disciplines
• Produce layout drawings and equipment lists, collaborating with Layout Designers to address design issues

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience
• 3+ years of experience in CAD, with drafting skills required (Autodesk Revit experience a plus)
• Strong knowledge of CAD drawing standards and file structures
• Understanding of applicable building codes and standards related to retail design
• Good analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
