CAD Operator 3

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CAD Operator 3 to prepare system installation drawings from engineered documentation for construction or permit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare security systems installation drawings using AutoCAD/REVIT files and assist with design clash detection
• Manage and update BIM models, including adjustments based on customer feedback and change orders
• Assemble drawing package sets and maintain project folders while ensuring timely completion of drawings

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of seven years of AutoCAD/BIM experience
• Minimum of five years' experience in the electronic security industry
• Computer-Aided Drafting Certificate and Revit for Architectural Design Professional Certification required
• Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S) preferred
