CAD Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CAD Technician I to support gas pipeline projects through technical design and fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform engineering concepts into precise CAD drawings, including construction plans and topographical profiles
• Gather real-world measurements in the field to enhance design accuracy
• Create preliminary and final sketches, refine drawings with engineering teams, and produce as-built documents

Required Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience with X-Refs and understanding of coordinate systems
• Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Design and Drafting Technology is preferred
• Microstation experience is a plus
• Experience within the utilities industry is advantageous
