CAD Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CAD Technician I to transform engineering concepts into detailed CAD drawings for gas pipeline projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert rough sketches and verbal instructions into precise CAD drawings using AutoCAD
• Draft structural details and support field survey crews by gathering necessary measurements and data
• Create preliminary and final sketches, as-built drawings, and revise drawings based on feedback

Required Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Design and Drafting Technology or a related field preferred
• Experience in utility or pipeline drafting is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Must complete an AutoCAD skills assessment
