CAD Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CAD Technician I to support gas pipeline projects through technical design and fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Create precise CAD drawings from engineering concepts for gas pipeline projects
• Develop detailed construction plans, topographical profiles, and maps for field operations
• Collaborate with survey crews to gather measurements and refine designs

Required Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience with X-Refs and coordinate systems
• Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Design and Drafting Technology is preferred
• Microstation experience is a plus
• Experience within the utilities industry is preferred
