CAD Technician II
Job Summary
Working in a hybrid environment, the CAD Technician II will assist in creating, revising, and storing electronic drawing files using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD for custom-designed process equipment, while collaborating with the drafting lead and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Correct redlined models/drawings issued by drafting lead or engineering/development teams
- Convert legacy hand-drawn and AutoCAD drawings into 3D models and associative drawings
- Create 2D drawings from existing 3D models and incorporate data from engineering teams
Required Qualifications:
- A.A.S. Mechanical Engineering Technology degree, A.O.S. Drafting/CAD degree, or Drafting Certificate/Certification
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in the mechanical drafting field
- Working knowledge of ASME/ANSI drafting standards
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault software
- Demonstrated proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting for candidates without degrees
