Job Summary

Working full-time in the Accounts Receivable department, the Associate Accounts Receivable Representative will manage patient account follow-ups, ensuring accurate and timely payments from insurance companies and self-pay patients while adhering to company policies and goals.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate payments by primary and secondary payers and self-pay patients
• Perform thorough and timely follow-up on patient accounts to maintain accurate accounts receivable reporting
• Resolve reimbursement issues and manage denials, collaborating with billers and insurance payers

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Recent experience with healthcare denials and appeals
• Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and medical policies from payers
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting
