Job Summary
Working full-time in the Accounts Receivable department, the Associate Accounts Receivable Representative will manage patient account follow-ups, ensuring accurate and timely payments from insurance companies and self-pay patients while adhering to company policies and goals.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate payments by primary and secondary payers and self-pay patients
- Perform thorough and timely follow-up on patient accounts to maintain accurate accounts receivable reporting
- Resolve reimbursement issues and manage denials, collaborating with billers and insurance payers
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience with healthcare denials and appeals
- Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and medical policies from payers
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting
