California and Arizona HR Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing organization, the full-time remote HR Manager will manage the full employee lifecycle, ensure compliance with California and Arizona employment laws, and enhance employee experience through strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multi-state compliance and oversee full-cycle payroll processes in Rippling
• Drive full-cycle recruiting from job description creation to onboarding of new hires
• Administer employee benefits and design engagement programs to support professional development

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of HR experience with at least 2 years as a generalist
• Strong working knowledge of California and Arizona state employment laws
• Availability for full-time work within Pacific Time Zone business hours
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is highly preferred
