Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote California and Arizona HR Manager, this hands-on role will manage the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance and payroll accuracy while driving talent acquisition and enhancing employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multi-state compliance, oversee full-cycle payroll in Rippling, and maintain audit-ready records
• Drive full-cycle recruiting from job description creation to onboarding of top-tier talent
• Administer benefits, design engagement programs, and support professional development initiatives

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years as a generalist owning multiple functions
• Strong working knowledge of California and Arizona state employment laws
• Availability for full-time work within Pacific Time Zone business hours
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is highly preferred
