Job Summary
As a hands-on generalist, the full-time Remote Human Resources Manager will lead people operations, managing the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with California and Arizona employment laws, and enhancing employee experience during a phase of growth.
Key responsibilities
- Manage multi-state compliance and full-cycle payroll in Rippling, maintaining audit-ready records
- Drive full-cycle recruiting from job description creation to onboarding top-tier talent
- Administer benefits, design engagement programs, and support professional development initiatives
Required qualifications
- 2-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years as a generalist
- Strong working knowledge of California and Arizona state employment laws
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus
- Availability for full-time work within Pacific Time Zone business hours
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is highly preferred
