Job Summary
To support the Master of Nursing program, a part-time, remote California and Texas Licensed FNP Faculty will deliver online instruction, engage students through various teaching methods, and evaluate student performance while contributing to program quality and student success.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver didactic and/or clinical instruction online, ensuring effective learning experiences
- Engage students using diverse teaching methods and evaluate their performance in both classroom and clinical settings
- Communicate timely feedback to students, responding to inquiries within specified timeframes
Required qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Doctor of Nurse Practitioner with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization
- At least two years of continuous clinical practice in the NP role, currently working part-time in the NP role
- Minimum of two years' current experience in an FNP role, including diagnosing and treating patients in a clinic setting
- Active, current, and unencumbered FNP state license in California and Texas, or willingness to obtain both within six months of employment
- Demonstrated record of or potential for excellence in teaching and commitment to serving a diverse adult student body
