Job Summary

Hands-on and dynamic, the full-time Remote HR Manager with California and Arizona employment law experience will manage multi-state compliance, oversee full-cycle payroll, and drive talent acquisition while partnering with leadership to enhance employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multi-state compliance and full-cycle payroll processes in Rippling while maintaining audit-ready records
• Drive full-cycle recruiting from job description creation to onboarding of top-tier talent
• Administer employee benefits, design engagement programs, and support professional development initiatives

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years as a generalist
• Strong working knowledge of California and Arizona state employment laws
• Availability for full-time work within Pacific Time Zone business hours
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is highly preferred
