Job Summary
To support a growing organization, the full-time Remote HR Manager with California and Arizona employment law experience will manage compliance and payroll, drive talent acquisition, and enhance employee experience while partnering with leadership to develop scalable processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage multi-state compliance and full-cycle payroll in Rippling while maintaining audit-ready records
- Drive full-cycle recruiting from job description creation to onboarding top-tier talent
- Administer benefits, design engagement programs, and support professional development initiatives
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years as a generalist owning multiple functions
- Strong working knowledge of California and Arizona state employment laws
- Availability for full-time work within Pacific Time Zone business hours
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is highly preferred
