Job Summary

Serving as a key resource for the billing team, the full-time California Billing Specialist Team Lead will manage claim resolutions, provide training to staff, and act as the first point of escalation for billing inquiries in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve patient accounts by correcting billing edits and addressing clearinghouse rejections
• Assist in training staff on system functionality and organizational policies
• Conduct quality assurance audits and generate reports for staff performance

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 5 years of medical billing experience
• Computer proficiency with Windows-based technologies
• Prior work experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Ability to handle difficult situations with a positive attitude
