Job Summary
A company is looking for a Regional BioTech Business Development Director (CRO) to oversee U.S. commercial expansion within a global clinical research organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategies to expand the CRO's market presence in the U.S., focusing on biotech and pharmaceutical organizations
- Grow and maintain senior-level client relationships for long-term partnerships and multi-program engagements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service and client satisfaction across regional accounts
Required Qualifications
- 8-15 years of progressive experience in CRO sales or business development
- Strong understanding of clinical trial operations and the biotech/pharmaceutical landscape
- Proven ability to manage and coach teams responsible for high-value deals within the CRO sector
- Experience in strategic planning and relationship building
- Focus on therapeutic areas including Oncology, Immunology, and Neurology
