California Certified Educator

Job Summary

To support students with extensive support needs, the fully remote California Certified Educator will deliver virtual instruction, develop lesson plans, and track student progress in a contract position.

Key responsibilities

• Teach the K-3 curriculum using the district's virtual platform and attend professional development and faculty meetings
• Collaborate with in-class facilitators to enhance student learning experiences
• Monitor and record student progress, grades, and performance

Required qualifications

• Active California teaching certification in Moderate to Severe Support Needs or Extensive Support Needs
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet
• Participation in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submission of a background check
