Job Summary

Experienced ATA-certified Translators will find a remote contract opportunity focused on providing written translations in languages such as Chinese (Simplified), Korean, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese, while adhering to project guidelines and ensuring linguistic accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide written translations using a Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tool, ensuring adherence to project instructions and glossaries
• Perform language quality checks to deliver error-free translations that maintain the source content's meaning and style
• Communicate professionally with team members and participate in quality management processes to uphold translation standards

Required qualifications

• Certification by the American Translators Association (ATA) or equivalent from an alternate language institution
• Two years of experience providing human translation services to government offices
• Full fluency in English and the target language
• Experience using modern CAT tools, such as XTM or Trados
• High School Diploma or higher education accreditation in a relevant field
