California Charge Posting Supervisor

Job Summary

Leading the charge entry team, the full-time California Charge Posting Supervisor will manage accurate and timely posting of Workers' Compensation charges in a remote environment while ensuring compliance with billing guidelines and internal service level expectations.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Workers' Compensation charge entry team, ensuring timely resolution of assigned work
• Monitor productivity and quality audits, providing coaching and feedback to improve accuracy and reduce rework
• Collaborate with various revenue cycle teams to resolve discrepancies and act as the primary escalation point for complex billing issues

Required qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of medical billing or charge entry experience
• Strong knowledge of California Workers' Compensation billing rules and requirements
• Prior lead, senior, or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with EHR/PM systems (e.g., IMS, ECW, Prognosis, or similar)
• Strong understanding of CPT/ICD coding fundamentals
