California Command Center Operations Lead

Job Summary

To support the launch of an AI-enabled virtual health triage platform, the contract-to-hire California Command Center Operations Lead will manage operational oversight, establish workflows, and ensure adherence to service level agreements during the initial ramp-up and ongoing operations, with a preference for on-site work during the first two weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Embed into product and clinical workflows to build the virtual command center and define operational standards
• Monitor real-time operations during the launch phase, ensuring timely responses and adherence to SLAs
• Collaborate with leadership to make strategic decisions on user capacity and staffing levels during scaling phases

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in running a command center, logistics operation, or critical healthcare launch
• High emotional intelligence and ability to maintain composure under pressure
• Experience in monitoring performance metrics and managing live operational queues
• Willingness to support shift-based coverage and work on-site during the initial ramp-up
• Strong decision-making skills in ambiguous situations
