Job Summary
A company is looking for a Community Liaison to promote its mission by building relationships and increasing awareness of services across California.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen community image through outreach and education about the Self-Determination Program and Participant Directed Services
- Connect individuals to Financial Management Services and collaborate with community partners to enhance service delivery
- Create and deliver presentations to stakeholders and gather feedback to improve services for participants
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, Human Services, or Sociology preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education
- 2+ years of experience in community engagement with diverse and underserved populations
- Knowledge of developmental disability services in California
- Ability to work independently and attend events on weekends and evenings
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
