Job Summary
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local telecom regulations, the full-time California Compliance Manager will manage regulatory filings, telecom taxation, and contractual obligations while fostering relationships with key agencies, all in a remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit required FCC and CPUC filings, ensuring regulatory fee accuracy
- Review and interpret contracts to ensure compliance and protect company interests
- Manage employee records and compliance, updating internal policies and handbooks as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in telecom, UCaaS, or technology compliance and contract management
- Strong understanding of FCC and CPUC regulations and telecom taxation procedures
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts and regulatory documents
- Familiarity with systems such as OneBill, Gusto, and CRM/ERP tools
