Job Summary
Working remotely within California, the full-time California Contract Specialist will manage contract drafting, negotiation, and lifecycle management while ensuring compliance and providing administrative support to the Enterprise & Procurement Services department.
Key responsibilities
- Support the contract portfolio lifecycle by drafting modifications, extensions, and ensuring compliance with policies
- Provide general administrative support, including document proofreading, organizing files, and scheduling appointments
- Collaborate with Operations and Business Systems teams to maintain data quality and optimize reporting capabilities
Required qualifications
- Relevant BA/BS degree, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both; advanced degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of three years of progressive related work experience preferred
- At least two years of experience in an education or non-profit environment preferred
- Ability to think strategically and proactively while analyzing situations and developing effective solutions
- Strong desire to impact and change people's lives for the better, with a focus on equity and collaboration
