California CPA Audit Associate

Job Summary

Supporting all phases of financial statement audits, the full-time California CPA Audit Associate will perform detailed testing, evaluate internal controls, and contribute to organized workpapers in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning audit engagements by gathering background information and understanding the client's business and industry
• Perform substantive procedures and audit testing across major financial statement accounts
• Prepare clear and organized workpapers that support audit conclusions in accordance with professional standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a major or emphasis in Accounting
• CA CPA eligible
• Minimum accounting GPA of 3.0 preferred
• High level of motivation to learn and produce high-quality work
• Prior public accounting experience helpful but not required
