California CPA Audit Associate

Job Summary

To support a growing audit team, the full-time California CPA Audit Associate will assist in planning and executing financial statement audits, perform detailed testing, and evaluate internal controls in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning audit engagements by gathering background information and understanding the client's business and industry
• Perform substantive procedures and audit testing across major financial statement accounts
• Prepare clear and organized workpapers that support audit conclusions in accordance with professional standards

Required Qualifications

• Current or completed enrollment at an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Expected completion of bachelor's or master's degree between December 2026 and June 2027
• Minimum accounting GPA of 3.0 preferred
• CA CPA eligible
• Prior public accounting experience helpful but not required
