California CPA Financial Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical accounting subject matter expert, providing guidance on complex transactions
• Prepare accounting memos and partner with various departments to ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and lead implementation efforts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years of related work experience in industry and/or Big 4 accounting firm
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Active CPA certification
• Experience with Oracle ERP, Workiva, and Equity Edge Online
• Ability to travel 10% for in-office meetings and conferences
