California CPA Supervisor

Job Summary

To support a dynamic engagement team, the full-time California CPA Supervisor will manage audit and review strategies, supervise accounts payable and payroll processing, and provide training and guidance to staff while working in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise all components of client engagements, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines
• Analyze financial data and prepare monthly financial reports, addressing client concerns and identifying problems promptly
• Guide and mentor team members while contributing to business development and recruiting efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA license or actively pursuing it
• Minimum of five years of experience in a professional services firm or seven years in the private sector
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
• At least three years of supervisory experience, with a focus on staff development and performance evaluation
• Experience with CaseWare is preferred
