California CPA Supervisor

Job Summary

To support a growing accounting practice, the full-time California CPA Supervisor will manage engagement planning and review procedures, supervise team members, and deliver creative solutions to client needs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise accounts payable and payroll processing while analyzing financial data for accuracy
• Plan and oversee all components of client engagements, ensuring quality and timeliness of work
• Guide and mentor team members, providing training and performance insights for evaluations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required
• Minimum of five years of experience in a professional services firm or seven years in the private sector
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite required
• Valid CPA license or actively pursuing licensure
• At least three years of supervisory experience in an accounting environment
