California Data Science Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried California Data Science Analyst III will lead efforts to analyze education data, develop innovative dashboards, and translate insights into advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to support pediatric health education initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, integrate, and analyze education data from multiple sources to demonstrate program impact
• Develop advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that support continuous improvement across initiatives
• Collaborate with educators, program leaders, and researchers to understand learner journeys and educational outcomes

Required qualifications

• 8 years of experience in healthcare education and learner analytics, with familiarity in hospital systems and healthcare data sets
• Advanced proficiency in data preparation using scripting languages like Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL, R, or Python
• Experience in business intelligence development using Tableau and/or PowerBI
• Understanding of data analytics platforms such as Azure data lake, Azure Synapse, and SQL Server
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or HS Diploma/GED with 8 years of direct experience
