California Defense Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary

Supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation, the fully remote California Defense Litigation Paralegal will manage case documents, draft legal pleadings, and track deadlines while collaborating closely with legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, prepare, and organize pleadings, discovery responses, and legal correspondence
• Manage and track deadlines, court filings, and case calendars
• Assist with mediation and trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness files

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in defense litigation or civil litigation matters
• Knowledge of California court procedures and filing requirements
• Experience handling discovery, calendaring, and deposition preparation
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
