California Demand Planner
Job Summary
To support a client's team in California, the temporary remote California Demand Planner will manage sales and demand forecasts for hardware products, coordinate data collection, and present findings to upper management while driving process improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in and coordinate a 12-month rolling sales forecasting process, presenting forecasts to upper management
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to inform demand planning and inventory strategies
- Develop metrics to evaluate demand planning processes and lead discussions on budgeting for demand planning solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, data analytics, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Forecasting/Demand Planning at an OEM of consumer retail products
- Strong Excel and forecasting software expertise
- Experience with MRP (NetSuite) and Adaptive Insights (Workday) or other Business Intelligence software
- Background in statistical and financial modeling, including trend analysis and risk analysis
