Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time remote California Docketing Specialist will manage all aspects of court and litigation docketing, ensuring accurate tracking of critical deadlines in a high-volume environment while supporting attorneys and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter, maintain, and monitor all court, agency, arbitration, and administrative deadlines using Aderant Milana
- Analyze filings to accurately calculate and calendar applicable deadlines and maintain litigation calendars
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure adherence to docketing protocols and assist with the development of procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of docketing experience
- In-depth understanding of civil litigation procedures and court rules (federal and state)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Familiarity with electronic filing systems (e.g., CM/ECF, PACER) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a multi-office environment
