California Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support individuals in navigating healthcare coverage, the full-time remote California Enrollment Specialist will assist prospective members with Medi-Cal applications, renewals, and eligibility follow-ups while ensuring a smooth transition into PHG's services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist uninsured members with completing and submitting Medi-Cal applications and renewals
• Maintain ownership of pending Medi-Cal cases and conduct regular follow-ups on application status and eligibility issues
• Help members navigate Managed Care Plan enrollment and track their progress towards active coverage

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in healthcare administration, insurance enrollment, or a related field
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Excellent telephone communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and follow them through to resolution
