Job Summary
A company is looking for a Federal Litigation Attorney.
Key Responsibilities
- File and litigate cases in California federal district courts, ensuring compliance with FRCP and local rules
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for state and federal court while conducting case assessments and independent legal research
- Take and defend depositions, attend court appearances, and participate in pre-trial preparation and trial
Required Qualifications
- CA State Bar, in good standing (required)
- Active admission to at least one California federal district court (required)
- 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for federal court experience
- Lemon Law or consumer protection experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CM/ECF (PACER), and document management software
