California Federal Litigation Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time California Federal Litigation Attorney, the candidate will manage federal court cases, draft legal documents, and conduct thorough legal research while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S., preferably California.

Key responsibilities:

• File and litigate cases in federal court, ensuring compliance with FRCP and local rules
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for both state and federal court proceedings
• Conduct case assessments, manage discovery, and participate in pre-trial and trial activities

Required qualifications:

• Active admission to at least one California federal district court
• CA State Bar membership in good standing
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for federal court experience
• Experience in Lemon Law or consumer protection is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CM/ECF (PACER)
