California Finance Director

Job Summary

Leading fundraising strategy and execution for the California donor community, the full-time salaried California Finance Director will design and implement a comprehensive finance plan, oversee major donor cultivation, and manage fundraising events in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy focused on major donors, PACs, and events
• Set and track fundraising goals and key performance indicators on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Organize and lead call time for state and national principals, including preparing call lists and tracking pledges

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in political fundraising, preferably with federal or statewide campaigns
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Experience managing projects and collaborating with stakeholders effectively
• Commitment to building a party that serves working-class people of all races
• Demonstrated ability to manage a major donor program and meet ambitious fundraising goals
