Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing compliance with contracts and grants, the full-time remote California Grant Compliance Manager will manage the entire grant/contract lifecycle, ensuring adherence to regulations and organizational policies while collaborating with various teams within the San Diego County region.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance-related policies and procedures as needed
- Oversee contract compliance for private, state, county, and federal contracts
- Coordinate audit requests and communications with funders and external auditors, ensuring timely submission of all reports and certifications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field, or four (4) years of equivalent experience required
- Minimum eight (8) years of combined experience in contract oversight and management
- Knowledge of relevant contract regulations, funding and reporting requirements, and compliance audits
- Proficient in analyzing data and translating findings into actionable outcomes for reporting
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively while working independently with cross-functional teams
