California Grants Manager

Job Summary

As a key member of the Capitalization Team, the full-time California Grants Manager will manage the institutional grants cycle, including writing and submitting proposals and reports, while working remotely within California.

Key responsibilities:

• Write and submit letters of inquiry, proposals, and reports to secure and steward grant funding from various sources
• Coordinate proposal writing and manage application details for all grants as directed by the Chief Development Officer
• Conduct research on grant opportunities and maintain records using cloud-based tools to support fundraising efforts

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of related work experience required
• Strong experience in grants management and grant writing
• Exceptional writing skills with a passion for small business and entrepreneurship
• Ability to conduct research and synthesize findings effectively
• Experience with the CDFI industry and familiarity with financial terminology preferred
