California HR Advisor

Job Summary

As a trusted HR advisor, the full-time remote California HR Advisor will establish partnerships with business leaders to drive people strategies, facilitate HR issue resolution, and coach managers on performance management and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish collaborative partnerships with business leaders on hiring, retention, engagement, and DE&I initiatives
• Coach and direct leaders on performance management, employee relations, terminations, and conflict resolution
• Support the execution of annual bonus and merit cycles in collaboration with regional leadership and People Services team members

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant HR experience in a similar role, preferably in a large multi-location organization
• Degree and/or diploma in Human Resources; CPHR or SHRM designation is an asset
• Proficiency in MS Excel and a broad range of HR programs and policies
• Strong computer skills with experience in MS Office programs
• Knowledge of current HR-related federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
