California HR Generalist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an HR Generalist for a remote law firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer health and benefit plans and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Assist with recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, and performance management processes
• Champion firm culture and lead employee engagement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant HR experience in a law firm
• Experience with HR and payroll compliance in multiple states, especially California
• Bachelor's degree required; PHR/SHRM Certification preferred
• Experience with payroll systems software (e.g., ADP)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
