California HR Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an HR Manager to support overall employee experience and ensure compliance with HR-related policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and compliance
• Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits
• Coordinate performance review cycles and other HR initiatives while maintaining HRIS data

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR operations role, preferably in a tech startup
• Experience with core HR processes and familiarity with California employment law
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
