California HR Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an HR Manager to oversee HR operations and lead the HR team remotely from California.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor HR team members while ensuring effective HR practices
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, and compliance processes, including payroll and benefits administration
• Provide guidance on employee relations and ensure adherence to labor laws and policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• At least 6 years of progressive HR experience, including 2 years in a management role
• Expert knowledge of California and Federal labor laws
• Experience in managing HR functions across multiple states and remote workforces
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
