California HR Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an HR Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and drive effective HR practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor HR team members while managing HR processes and policies
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and compliance with labor laws
• Provide guidance on employee relations and support HR initiatives for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• At least 6 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role
• Expert knowledge of California and Federal labor laws
• Experience in managing HR functions across multiple states and remote workforces
• Strong consultation skills and proven track record in HR roles
