California Industry Partnerships Associate

Job Summary

To support the expansion of equitable pathways to economic mobility, the full-time Industry Partnerships Associate will engage with employers and educational institutions remotely in California, focusing on enhancing registered apprenticeship programs and outreach efforts in the Inland Empire.

Key responsibilities

• Lead targeted outreach and engagement with Inland Empire employers in advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, and clean economy sectors to build registered apprenticeship partnerships
• Assist in the development and implementation of registered apprenticeship programs, including program design and onboarding processes
• Provide technical assistance and support to employers and organizations to enhance understanding and adoption of apprenticeship models

Required qualifications

• Knowledge of workforce development systems, including registered apprenticeship models
• Familiarity with employer engagement and outreach strategies in education or workforce development
• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 years of experience in workforce development, employer engagement, or education partnerships preferred
• Demonstrated innovation, creativity, and collaborative skills in achieving organizational goals
