California Labor Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Labor Compliance Specialist - Public Works Construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contractor and subcontractor Certified Payroll Records (CPRs) for accuracy and compliance with California prevailing wage laws
• Verify proper classification of workers, wage rates, overtime calculations, and fringe benefit reporting
• Identify and flag labor compliance violations and communicate discrepancies to contractors and project management teams

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• 4+ years of experience in California public works labor compliance or certified payroll review
• Strong knowledge of California prevailing wage laws and DIR reporting requirements
• Experience reviewing Certified Payroll Records (CPRs) and Statement of Compliance forms
• Familiarity with transportation or infrastructure public works projects
