Job Summary

Seeking a California-licensed Labor & Employment Attorney, the fully remote engagement role offers flexible hours for either part-time or full-time candidates, focusing on employer-side litigation including wage and hour class actions, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Handle or support wage and hour class actions and single-plaintiff employment litigation matters
• Draft and argue motions, manage written discovery, and assist with deposition preparation
• Support mediation and trial preparation, advising on case strategy and risk management

Required qualifications

• California-licensed attorney in good standing with 4+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
• Strong understanding of the full litigation lifecycle from pleadings to trial prep
• Proficient legal writer capable of handling complex, multi-party matters
• Experience with depositions and comfort with routine court appearances preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment managing multiple assignments
