California Leave of Absence Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Leave of Absence Specialist to manage the leave of absence life cycle and ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end leave process, including eligibility determination and return-to-work coordination
• Act as the expert on California leave laws and lead the ADA interactive process for accommodations
• Maintain accurate records of leave requests and collaborate with various departments for benefit integration

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• CPDM, CLMS, SHRM, or PHR certification desired
• Minimum 5 years of experience administering leaves in a multi-site organization
• Expertise in California leave laws and related programs
• Proficiency in at least one enterprise-level leave tracking platform
