California Leave of Absence Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Leave of Absence Specialist to manage the leave of absence life cycle and ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end leave process, including intake, eligibility, certifications, and return-to-work coordination
• Act as the expert on California leave laws and lead the ADA interactive process for employees seeking accommodations
• Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and generate reports to analyze leave data and trends

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• CPDM, CLMS, SHRM, or PHR certification desired
• Minimum 5 years of experience administering leaves in a multi-site organization
• Expert understanding of state and federal regulations related to leave and disability programs
• Proficiency in an enterprise-level leave tracking platform
