California Leave of Absence Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Leave of Absence Specialist to manage the leave of absence life cycle and ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire leave process for a high-volume desk, including eligibility determination and return-to-work coordination
• Serve as an expert on California leave laws and lead the ADA interactive process for accommodations
• Consult with managers on complex leave cases and maintain accurate records in the leave management system

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• CPDM, CLMS, SHRM, or PHR certification desired
• Minimum 5 years of experience administering leaves in a multi-site organization
• At least 3 years of California-specific experience with various leave programs
• Proficiency in an enterprise-level leave tracking platform
